On February 22-24, was held in Dajçi commune of Shkodra, the second local meeting to introduce the details of the project implementation plan and objectives for the preparation of comprehensive management plan for protected landscape of terrestrial and aquatic Buna River and wetland areas surroundings. The second meeting was aimed at assessing the main dynamics of ecosystem conservation and community development, which characterize ecosystem areas that provide social and economic services to its users. 

The meeting was organized by the Programme Office for South-East of the International Union for Conservation of Nature - IUCN (International Union for the Conservation of Nature), in cooperation with MEFWA and INCA, with financial support from the Office of the Italian Development Cooperation (Italian Development Cooperation Office) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy in the framework of the project for strengthening institutional capacity and staff capacity building at national and local planning and management of protected areas.
